Interesting effect (any idea why?)

A few weeks ago, playing around, I took several pictures of the same scene, camera on a wall, decreasing the shutter speed each time. Ultimately one of the pictures looked all washed out and seemed useless but I noted the other day if I tilt the PC the colors come into view. It's almost like tilting a holographic image to change it.

Any ideas what could have caused such effect?

Do you have an LCD screen? LCD monitors are calibrated to view colors from a straight-on angle. By tilting the screen the optimum viewing angle is changed and colors get washed out and loose luminance.

Interesting effect

To whomever moved the question to the correct area, many thanks !!

What is interesting about the effect is that it's only that one picture when viewed straight on.

That was me. If I see a thread that will be more useful in Beginners Q&A (for the poster and any people new to photography) I move it.
It's better to leave the other areas for the more advanced stuff.
