72 mm Hoya filters?

I saw these in a 2nd hand store yesterday. They were asking $20.00 for a set of three Hoya filters. Is that a good price? Does Pentax make any lenses that accept a 72mm filter? Thanks

Which filters are they? Hoya manufactures dozens of filter types in dozens of filter thread sizes. Twenty bucks could mean be a huge ripoff or a huge savings. Are these polarizers, UV/protector filters, neutral density filters, white balance filters, black and white colour filters, special effects filters, infrared filters, and et cetera? Additionally, if you don't currently have any lenses with 72mm threads, why would you want to purchase these filters? They'll be useless to you, unless you buy a step-up (or step-down) ring. Do you need the effect these filters provide; do you even know what type of filters they are?

If these are UV/protector filters, I recommend that you do not waste your money on them, whether used or factory sealed. I'm not going to go into details of why, as my contributions to the UV filter debate tends to damage my integrity amongst other users. Just don't buy UV filters, period.

I've got a couple of lenses that would require 72mm filters.

Oopps got it wrong I have three with a 77mm requirement.
