Filter Questions

1. What is the difference between the Kenko MC UV and their Pro1 Series.
2. Which one should I get for my Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro and my Pentax 18-55 Kit Lens.
3. Random question: is there anyway I can cap the hood of my sigma that way I don't have to unscrew and recap when not shooting? Or is this not generally done?
