K100d VS K200d sutter speed

Hello people. I have own thek100d for about 2 years and i use it to photogragh trains moving at high speed. So i like it so much i got the k200 but when i shoot in moving object mode with the k200 my shutter speed is 750/4.5/100 iso/18mm. My k100d was at 1500/3.5/200 iso/ 18mm. I test them side by side is the fact that the iso only gose down to 200 on k100 have something to do with it.

Welcome to the forum Saul.
The only difference you're seeing in the settings is that the K200D went to ISO 100 because 1/750 was fast enough to capture what you wanted. Essentially, there will be little difference in the results unless a fast train enhanced the motion blur on your K200D shot. If you're finding the blur too much/too little, you can always set your camera to Tv mode and set the shutter speed you like (eg. 1/2000 to freeze the action, or say 1/150 to show motion in the photo) and see what you get.

Does this answer your question?

Ok i understand that, one more. Why would the k200 with th 18-55 only go to 4.5 @ 18mm
but my k100 would go to 3.5 @18mm.

The K200D *will* go to f/3.5 with that lens at 18mm. Just because it can doesn't mean it always will choose to - that depends entirely on what mode you're in, what settings you make, what the light is like, etc. But in Av mode, you select the aperture yourself, and if you want f/3.5, you can dial it in.

That is why I usually prefer Av a I want to control DOF and how fast my lens can go.
