Card locked error no card fault

Hi I My dslr k100d has an error message "card locked" the card is not at fault as the same message appears on a new card and the lever is in thye correct position, all other functions on the camera seem to work fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Does anyone know how to resolve the issue?

Welcome to the forum.

Site Suggestions, Errors and Help is for forum related questions, not camera problems.

There is a lock tab on the side of the cards, check to see if that is the problem.

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried re-formatting the cards? Perhaps they came from another camera or purpose?
