On the topic of fast 50's.....

Don't forget about the older Pentax SMC-M 50mm f2, f1.7 and f1.4

On ebay they usually go for a song. I was able to pick up a f50/2 for $10 (including shipping) and a 50/1.7 for $15 about a year ago. The only difference is that they are manual focusing. They usually have been well cared for, sitting up on a shelf or in a camera bag for the last 20 years. The kids or grand kids find them after grandpa passes away, and puts them up on evil bay. You sort of have to hunt them down, at times they are a bunch being offered, other times there is a dry spell.

Pentax Lens Review Database - M Series Primes

The reason for the price is that these lenses were the kit lenses on the old film bodies. Quality is usually high, and a significant amount of the time the film body is included.

... Also, in the same general topic, there are a lot of 28mm f2.8 (also look for Tokina 28/2.8 with the K mount).
