K20D grinding noise on turn-on ??!!

Hi guys, all of a sudden this morning my K20D is giving out a grinding noise when turned ON. It's something mechanical inside so strong that it shakes the camera.
SR is off, live is off. Is this normal? (don't think so), please help. The camera is 6 days new.

Do you have dust reduction on start-up turned on? If so, turn it off and see if the grind/shake goes away. If so, then it's normal as its that anti-dust mechanism shaking the sensor. It does sort-of sound like a grind (though I don't think I would have described it that way) and it definitely shakes the camera.

Go to the setup menu and manually perform dust removal, and see what you think of that noise...

The only grinding noise you would want,is the one out of a expresso machine,not your camera.Maybe oneday,they might be clever enough to combine them both for all you coffee drinkers??????The K20EXD????LOL!!
