hot pixels on K-7 LCD?

i just purchased a K-7. Took some photos of my dog and the LCD viewer had what appeared some hot pixels -- throbbing green spots o the LCD. has this been an issue with other K-7 owners?

They show over and under exposure but i have only ever used a K20 so not sure what they are like on the K7?

its an option in the menu to turn them on or off.

Just a thought
