K7 setting preferences.

Hi.
I just upgraded from a k10d to the k7.I havn't had much chance to explore all the new features and am about to go on holidays in a week. I wonder if anyone has some tips on settings. I shoot in raw mostly in the p hyper program, auto iso 200 to 800. Is the auto noise reduction something to consider? I do like to take night scenes. There are so many new features I don't know where to begin.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks
James

This has nothing to do with photographic style or technique, please be careful where you post.

Set aside some time with your K7 and user manual, and then go into the menu and look though all the settings one by one and make a decision on what you think will work for you. A lot of the settings are self explanatory, and if you don't know what it does, skip it for now or look for an explanation in the user manual. I upgraded from the K10D, and didn't find that there that many new features to worry about; I changed many of my Custom Menu settings to what I have on the K10D.

Remember, everyone is different, and YOUR personal preferences might be different to someone else's.

Haven't done much to mine, the only thing I've done so far is sharpness +2 in natural settings, enable horizon correction and electronic leveling. I haven't even tried shootinga video with my K-7 yet and I've had it since Wednesday! I've been too busy taking photos.
