Where can I buy a lens hood that will fit the 18-55 DA L kit lens that came with the k-x?

Genuine version, from B&H or probably Adorama.

Knock-off version is less costly.

Just google PH-RBA 52mm Lens Hood.
As SoldBear suggested, but you might be able to find less priced if you google..maybe.
