I need aid… it has been buying for three, day pentax kx and when placing to him several lenses that i have of 20 years ago of my old pentax, i can see the image by the viewfinder, but in the screen it is not seen and it is annulled to the firing for photograph and video… that i can do for being able to take advantage of all old lenses,… and like with himself the manual in spanish language? Thanks

Compre hace tres, dias pentax kx y al colocarle varios lentes que tengo de hace 20 años de mi vieja pentax, puedo ver la imagen por el visor, pero en la pantalla no se ve y se anula el disparo para fotografia y video...que puedo hacer para poder aprovechar todos mis lentes antiguos, ...y como consigo el manual en idioma español??? In the camera's menu look for an option called something along the lines of "using aperture ring" and set it to "permitted" instead of "prohibited". You should then be able to use the lenses in manual mode, and you can check light levels using the green button near the on/off switch.

Good luck on your new K-x.
Old lenses should work fine on them, event the Takumar screw type (M-42) lenses with the appropriate adapter.
