Hi my friends,

is it possible to use the hyperfocal on the DA lenses? How?

focal length of lens (in millimeters)
and
scene width at focused subject (in meters)
then
Hyperfocal f-number ~ focal_length/scene_width

Everything behind the subject will be in focus if the hyperfocal f-number is used.

Examples:
Horses grazing (scene width 4 meters) with 50mm lens.

Hyperfocal f-number = 50/4 ~F:12.5

Cavalry charge (scene width 6 meters) with 50mm lens.

Hyperfocal f-number = 50/6 ~ F:8

F-16's over Madison Wisconsin (F-16 about 15m long) with 100mm lens

Hyperfocal f-number = 100/40 ~ F:2.5
