I agree. I was on a walk in a very low light environment and wanted to try out HDR... I had my beanbag with me and set my camera down on it to try HDR... Well, I found out that I could not set the timer... why?
I would have had to press down the shutte the whole time and because I was in low light, the shutter speeds would have been slow/long... The only way I could have done it would have been to use the wireless remote... which was
in my car.
I can think of no technical reason why the timer can't trigger the HDR sequence. It just doesn't make sense. I guess now I'll make a habit of keeping that tiny remote with me... at least it's small.
