memory card erro

Hi Guys,
I just got my KX last weekend.
Since Saturday, I have receive this error "no memory card" though the card is inserted. I will need to take it out and insert again.
Anyone else face this problem, i have tried changing to a new memo card and it still the same.
The shop that sold me told me I might need to update the software, but when i went to the service Centre, they told me it might be due to the memory card brand, am using. Adviced me to change to another brand??
Advice pls?

Which brand are you using? I would suggest one from Sandisk, Trancend, or Kingston.

I would still try a different card though.

Have you tried re-formatting it? If that doesn't work, I say chuck it out or return it.

well, you wrote that u changed memory card and still no success...so it's highly unlikely that you're facing card problem...however, worth shot and upgrade firware before u march back to store for refund...
or simply ask them to demonstrate wich card shall work fine, SD is so common format that they got to have some on-site...
