New to the site

Hi everyone im new to photograhy and new to the forum,i would like to say that im glad I stumbled upon this site. I find that all the experienced photographers take the newbies serious and answer all questions in the best way they can.Im glad i purchased the pentax k-x and even happier there is a place i can post questions and have them answered by you guys.Being new to this was intimidating until i found this forum.Thanks to the moderator and all members for providing someone like me with very valuable information.

Hi Bobby and welcome to the forum. I remember when I first stumbled on the forum too, while researching various cameras for my first DSLR purchase. I knew then what I know now even more: this site is an amazing resource, full of great people. Choosing my Pentax DSLR was a tough decision, one which had me taking many, many variables into account. Believe it or not, this forum tipped the scales in favor of the Pentax purchase for me.
