Is this bokeh or lens flare?

I see bokeh, lens flare, and motion blur all jumbled up. But there's actually very little bokeh here, the depth of field is huge.

If you are referring to the round shapes in the middle of the picture, you are looking at flare.
If you have a filter on your lens, that is a likely culprit.

I'd almost guarantee there's a filter on the lens, one that looks like it doesn't deserve to be on it.

Definitely lens flare. I would agree with the others -- shooting at that time of day, you need to lose any filters. Any added glass will increase the chance of reflections inside your lens.

This was shot with the same filter on. Again, I see that little bit of lens flare...
