What are the options? Try it with SilkyPix (not much experience with it so can't guarantee that it does not add something)? Can give that a try in the coming few days. Alternatively I can compress the original PEF files (I don't think the K100D uses compression so it should reduce filesize) and dump them on the net for somebody to check them out?

EDIT: compressing does not help much over 10MB to around 9 MB
