Steve, do you mean there is the same DoF in viewfinder as in lens at wide apertures? Sounds like a good feature.

even with Pentax-A 50mm f1.7, I only use safox focus sensor (center focus-point + green hexagon lamp).

just test your FA31 BF/FF, and corrected in Focus-Correction Debug-Mode.
