Video from Pentax Kx or K7

Hello, I have a question in regards to the video capabilities of the Pentax Kx or the K7. I don't own either of the cameras but was wondering if,
a) since the camera can use any standard 35mm camera lens will using a faster lens such as a F1.4 prime lens make any difference in low light condition compared to a F4.0 lens?
b) Next does a zoom lens such as a DA 55-300mm still zoom while you are recording in video mode? Lastly does the shake reduction feature work well when using a telephoto lens?

a) Yes. And it also makes a difference in depth of field.
b) yes, but it takes practice to make it look good.
lastly) yep.
