prime lens pictures

was wondering if some of you guys could post different prime lens pictures...preferably some different focal lengths and apertures so i could see how the picture looks other then the usual 50mm.

just a request

You could have a look at the "Post your photos" section of this forum, which has tons of photos posted by users. Often the lens used for each picture is listed there too. Or you could look in the lens reviews section, where many people include pictures as part of their review of specific lenses.

E.g. the takumar club has 238 pages with probably an average of 10 photos per page.

Your best bet is to start with the LTD clubs as there are only primes in there and the number of pages is around 60 for the 2 together (so only 600 photos or so).

Also, go over to the PPG and you can look at many examples of photos taken with all different Pentax lenses. You can also try Flickr. Just enter in the Pentax lens you are interested in and the results, if tagged by the shooter, will show up.

If your goal is to see what a particular focal length looks like, you can do that with your kit lens (at least up to 55 mm). Field of view will be the same the difference is that a prime will be sharper and faster.
