Q about updating 1.03-K7

Just a few questions i havent been able to find direct answers to about updating to 1.03 on my K7.

First, my camera has V1.0 on it, Do i need to update the next couple updates before updating 1.03? or just go right to 1.03?

Battery is fully charged, and i deleted all images from my 8gb sd card then i formatted in the camera. does this sound ok so far?

Now when i insert the sd into the slot on my pc im not sure where the root file? should be . of course i go to computer and the "I" drive where the card is plugged. when i click it all i see is a dcim folder which is empty. is this the root directory described in the README file? Not sure what the Root Directory is?

I guess thats it. thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Just put it in the same folder the DCIM directory is in, ie not inside that DCIM directory. Above.

You can go straight from 1 to 1.3

If battery is full you'll be fine
