affect of lens fungus on bokeh highlights on Flickr - Photo Sharing!, your images look ok, but tough to tell, until you start seeing this (see link) I think the lens is usable... but again if you wanted to clean that lens I will be your cheerleader... go go go

That's true... but I need maybe a 7th or 8th opinion on whether this looks like dust or fungus... so far it's been unsure... but I'm leaning towards the dust.

New development... Theres a spot that I CAN'T remove... could this be fungus?

Use a rubber sink plug that just fits inside the front of the lens, to unscrew the name ring. You'll then find a retaining ring with two notches. Remove it, and you can then remove and clean the front elements.
