I love photography as a hobby, I think it's the best hobby there is. I'm grateful that I have a K-7 as a great tool to practice this hobby that I love. Doesn't mean that I love my K-7, even if I did save up for months and months to buy it.

I love mountain biking, and I'm damn proud of the bike I built to do mountain biking. Despite the fact that I frequently claim to "love" my bike, I really just appreciate it as a great tool that allows me to go mountain biking.

I do, my K100D and K10D still provide the photographic experience I enjoyed - although the more I use both, I more I find the lack of features on the K100D (which is the beginner level) - but the K100D still provide good IQ and the convenient feature of backward compatibility with MF lenses.

I would also think that most other people still love their cameras too (whatever brands they own). However, some will remain just camera owners, others will go beyond that - enjoying the art of photography.

My K-x is brand new and I have every reason to love it, but still I wish I had the money for a K-7

the K20D is a fantastic camera! there are many reasons to love it,
generally I am in love with my lenses but the K20D make me very happy.

digital cameras are more like computers ...unlike film cameras , I am still in love with my K1000
my K20D in a year or two will become a door stop

One thing I do like about Pentax is they release a model and give you enough time to breath and take it in and enjoy it before coming up with a newer version. You haven't got one model falling on top of another like some other camera companies. And trying to keep up with it all can be an expensive nightmare.Number of people can't wait until the Full Frame Pentax comes out.Just enjoy and love what you have for the now.I've had my K100D for nearly 4 years now and is still taking and providing me with images that I'm happy with.

If I'm worried about getting it right the first time, then it has to be the 10 or the 20. I love the things those two will produce.
But on the other hand, I still find myself grabbing my old DL to go out and play. To me it just has that old 35mm size/feel. I wouldn't go straight to love, but there is a soft spot there. The problem these days is I have to grab it when the wife isn't looking as she has taken a liking to using it instead of her old P&S.
One of these days I will probably part with some pennies and go for a K7. I've held one and it's a similar size/feel (to me) as the DL. Right now I can't justify to myself having a 10, 20 and a 7...

Of course I love my camera and it's gear. The K10D gets better the more I use it. I would like better low light AF performance and some better noise handling at high ISOs though. I don't doubt that the next semi-pro camera from Pentax will be a mixture of the K-7 and the K-x so when it arrives I'll wait a year till the price drops and go for it!

I have a strong affection for many of my film cameras, but I can not work up that sort of emotion for an electronic gizmo.

don't misconstrue this

I could love a lens if the aperture was wide enough. A 100/1.2 would be good. Oooh, yeah baby.

Actually, what I really love are... bellows. I can put almost anything translucent on a bellows, get interesting effects. Magnifier, crystal, prism, enlarger or eyeglass or taillight lens, Fresnal sheet, whatever. Yup, interesting effects (that means they're mostly crap). But it sure is fun, and I love fun, so there.

I don't love my K10...we're just good friends. Overall, she's pretty much what I want, except that she only tolerates my old K-mount buddies...she doesn't really like them.
