SR And Shaking

Hey all,

So, a while ago, I went to a school dance, and brought along the K-x.
Got a few nice pictures, but not much as my lens collection and my personal knowledge isn't that great.

Nonetheless, during some songs, I got a bit carried away and jumped around/danced/etc. with my camera around my neck.
It was never hit or dropped or anything, but I did do a fair bit of jumping and moving.

Just wondering, since the SR is in camera, would this have affected it at all?
I've taken numerous pictures since, and so far, no horrible/noticable effects, but just wondering.

Thanks in advance,

Shub

I guess it all depends on how hard you shook it. If you don't see any issues, then it should be fine. But don't go doing that again if you don't want to damage your camera.

If you shake any precision instrument around violently, bad things may happen.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It wasn't horrible shaking, but I just remembered the days of shaking a CD player, and having the music skip. That thought made me shudder.

I know. I have a 4 year extended warranty, will it cover any calibration or anything needed?

If that's all it was, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Heck, I take my K-7 on mountain biking trips. I can hit some pretty rough trails sometimes, and my camera is right there at my waist:
