First off: I know very little about SLR cameras. I have read through some forum postings already but haven't been able to find answers to my questions. Part of it may be because I don't speak the SLR camera language well
I have recently been given a Pentax P3 camera that my uncle found while he was cleaning out his garage. It came with a Ricoh Rikenon 50mm f/2 lens attached, but nothing else.
I have since downloaded the manual (I love the internet), but it doesn't say which number batteries I need to get it going. Can anyone help me with this?
And am I correct in thinking that this camera has a KA lens mount?
The second half of my questions is about lenses...
About a year ago, another uncle gave my dad two older lenses for his camera. He has a different brand of camera, so I inherited those as well. I have been able to find good info on one lens, but not the other.
The first is a Sears macro 28mm f/2.8-22 lens. I found information that it has a Minolta MD mount. Is this correct?
The second I haven't found any info on. Around the lens it reads "Auto CPC Phase 2 CCT 200mm 1:3.3" and then what I believe is the serial number. I can find other CPC Phase 2 lenses, but I can't seem to find anything with f/3.3.
Will either of these two lenses work on my camera? I have loosely tried fitting them in with no luck. I'm already guessing the macro lens is a no.
