K-X shake-reduction not working

Hi, I just received my K-X a few days ago and I'm really pleased with it. Unfortunately, I am unable to turn the shake-reduction feature on.

I'm using the kit 18-55 lens, and I've updated to the newest firmware (1.01)
As I understand it, the anti sake feature is turned on in the 4th page of the first tab in the MENU.
This, for me, is crossed out. Also in the info at the bottom of the info screen. And, if I press the INFO button, the little icon is, also, crossed out. Scrolling just skips it and goes on to the next.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Re-flash te firmware . . .

the share reduction doesn't work if u have e.g. self-timer or hdr on, check, whenever u didn't setted those on.

Or remote control mode for that matter.
