The K-7 has to be the best street photography DSLR available, due to it's small size, quite shutter, and weather sealing.
The K-7 has better AF than the K20D (faster and better accuracy in Tungsten light). For standard applications the K-7's AF is pretty much comparable to that of a Nikon D300. However, it's continuous AF performance is not quite as good as the Nikon D300 and better models. So for sports there are better cameras, although good technique will probably beat any AF system used with bad technique.
