80 is normal..the quality control check you camera before it sell ...

shake reduction being turned off on hdr mode makes perfect sense as you are 99.9% of the time be using a tripod to make sure there is no movement between the 3 exposures.

Yep, I just installed Irfanview to find out that.

Found it in PhotoME. My shutter count is 10738. My last picture taken is IMGP0535 (10535. I made it back around to all zeros). So, 203 shutter actuations at the factory.
