Well, I am on Av mode + Auto Iso since I bought the k10 (then K20, K7 and Kx), as long as I don't use flash... With flash, it's Manual mode and nothing else!

I really don't see the need to keep it in manual if you are shooting handheld and camera blur is a problem : you cannot do anything different or better about it by yourself... For a given aperture, and with a given focal length dictating your shutter floor, you'll end at pretty much the same value as AutoIso anyway...

If you want to control aperture AND speed (only reason to manually control Iso I can see), then you can still shoot in TAv mode...

With old manual lenses, it's another story, as Auto-Iso does not take focal length into account (which is pretty dumb, Pentax, hear me!).

I find this thread very interesting but for me is lacking a key component... WHERE ARE THE IMAGES ?
