Olympus flash with K-7

I would like to use my old Olympus T-32 flash with my Pentax K-7. Do anyone know if it's safe to use the T-32 with K-7? Does it makes any difference if I use the Hot Shoe or the sync plug?

Or must I use something like The Wein SSHSHS Safe-Sync Hot Shoe voltage reducer if I want to connect T-32 with K-7 in a safe way? Wein SSHSHS Safe-Sync Hot Shoe to Hot Shoe Reviews. Buying Guides & Consumer Product Reviews -

Safer to use the safe sync unless you can test the voltage meter of the T-32 first before using it.
