Did anybody install firmware 1.04 on K20D using Win 7 - 64 bit?

I just downloaded the firmware update 1.04 for my K20D from Pentax website:
Latest K20D Firmware Update : Software Downloads : PENTAX

After I downloaded in my Windows 7 - 64 bit PC,

I extracted the file but then there is this warning that the file might not install correctly. I didn't write down the file name but something with "...win32".
So I assume it must be for 32 bit Windows.

Has anybody tried to install this new firmware update 1.04 to their K20D using Windows 7 - 64 bit? Do you get any problem?

If nobody ever did this I guess I need to contact Pentax USA and ask them directly.

Thank you for the help.

Although I haven't had experience with this specific example, I do know that usually the whole "maybe this didn't install correctly" notice is a load of crap and can be ignored. If the program ends up running, then it did install correctly

On my Windows 7 x64 I did it successfully.
Technically firmware update is simple LHA self-extracting archive, you can unpack them directly on your card.

See my reply in the other forum; added here as reference for others.

Download the version for the Mac if the windows exe does not run. The Mac version is a zip file and can therefore be extracted by any software the supports the ZIP format; this will work on any platform.

Extract it and copy the bin-file to the memory card as per instructions.

I updated my K20 successfully using Windows 7 64 bit. You do get an erronerous error regarding the firmware exe not installing successfully but the actual bin file is created successfully. I just copied this onto my SD card and updated.

@ Adam: I really hope so. Cross my finger. Because I'll need the camera for my upcoming vacation.

@ HEKPOMAH & robbiec: Thank you for the confirmation. This is what I expect. I think I'll go ahead and do the update tonight.

@sterretje: I've replied you in the other forum. Thx.
