k20d 1.04 firmware question

does installing the firmware reset your settings, lens adjustments or anything like that?

I have not tried 1.04, but none of the other upgrades I have done to date have changed any of my settings.

You're lucky, asking at the right time.
I just finished installing firmware update 1.04 to my K20D and I can tell you that no setting changed after update.
Everything is just exactly like they were before update.

Thanks for the info guys, I just wanted to make sure. I didn't want to do it last night when I was tired and half groggy... never a good time to do a firmware update =)

Thanks guys, so the consensus is that no changes after the latest upgrade.

There were some reports about a change of behavior with AF and given lenses... Not faster or more accurate, nothing like this, but rather that the infinity/close focus racking was modified...

I'd have tried this with my tamron 70-200 (which was often stuck to close focus at 200mm), but I went K7 before the v1.04...
