Suggested software amendment to Pentax

I have read that Pentax read this forum so I am making a suggestion that I think would be fairly straightforward (I am a software developer).

There should be a "Treat attached lens as manual" option. This would logically be near the "Catch in focus" option. The complicated logic would be unchanged.

This would allow a lot more people to use CIF which in my opinion is often as effective as AF in nature photography. Many of the people who get CIF to work have to resort to mucking about with aluminium foil.

If there is a better place to post this suggestion please let me know.

We do. I think it's rather easy to lose things in there however.

Is this the place where I might ask why I can't take HDR shots using the 2sec timer? Surely the fix for this would be easy! (or is there something obvious I'm missing?)

You might want to start a new thread for that

Yeah! I could see a thread being dedicated to this! I would certainly love this. Unless you have a remote with you HDR is useless!
