hi, if that's not seen on pics, it means u got some small hair or thread into viewfinder, i have similar problem with two black sots inside i doubt shop would love to clean that for you free of charge, nor that u're willing to do it yourself, but obviously, if do no harm to pics, so maybe shake camera couple of times and if that won't help, just wait..over time it maybe dissapears

No it's not on any photos. I am going to get my brother to bring his p&s Nikon over and see if I can get a pic of this object. Like I said, it's a bright light, blue in color and about the shape of the photo I posted in my first post.

for me it seems like there is small nylon or ther syntetic particle, since they're usually semi transparent and reflect or divert light well, this can happen during changing lenses or so..and since u cant see that nor on pics, nor on mirror, it have to be inside on focusing screen

I don't know what it was but it's gone now. I lifted the mirror up and using the Rocket Blower, blew that part out. I guess that's where it was hiding because when my brother came over today, I was going to see if I could take a photo of it with his p&s, and I couldn't see it anymore.

Your brother must be a real ogre to scare a dust bunny out of the viewfinder!
