Hello I have read that it may be dangerous to my k-x to use and older film flash. I found this for next to nothing and honestly have not had a need for a flash yet but i still would like to know for when the opportunity presents itself i am ready. Can anyone help me decide whether or not I can use this unit with my camera safely!?

There is a way to test the voltage of the flash in question but you will need a multi-meter.
You can search the forums on how this can be done 'coz I can't seem to find the thread where it was most discussed.
The thread was from last year.
