Katz eye in Kx

Has anyone recycled their K10D Katz eye screen into a Kx or K7? (I have tried several searches without much luck.) I have really come to love the screen I have and if I don't have to pay for a new screen with an upgrade, that would be a bonus!

On the katz eye website, the screens for the two are sold separately, so I'm assuming they won't fit together. Your best bet would be to e-mail or call them, though!

Thanks Adam. I thought about calling them, but the cynic in me knew what their answer will be.

The K10D/K20D screen is smaller than the K7, but my K20D screen can fit the K-x but must position directly in the centre.

The K20D/K10D focusing screen is the same size the K-x focusing screen but the focusing will be off by a few mm. Shims can not correct it as it's not thin enough.

The K100D's focusing screen is identical to the K-x's, I believe. I've had no problems swapping them.

The k10D/K20D screen is smaller by a few mm, that is why you need to place it in the centre to get it to fit nicely. The K100D/K200D screen is the same size as the K-x

Thank you for the info.!! Are you currently using a K10d/20d screen in a Kx?

So, if I buy a Kx, I could replace the screen making sure the K10d Katz eyes screen is centered. It still functions/focuses properly?
