Ditto. And a lot has to do with the conditions you're shooting under:
If you're in bright sun shooting fairly static objects/scenes, why would you let the camera decide to choose to go higher than 200? Even in an automatic mode?
Hell, I don't go over 100 in bright sun with the kx unless I have to, like I need the DOF or shutter speed.
But those are my decisions to make, what I need. The camera doesn't understand my needs.
