With all the talk about new cameras (I'm guilty of this, as well) it's easy to forget that the K-7 was just released one year ago. It was announced in May and released in July if I'm not mistaken? I thought now would be a good time to declare the anniversary of its arrival on the scene.
I pre-ordered mine from Amazon when it was first announced, and even though people are paying half as much now for their K-7s I have not regretted my decision for a moment. The K-7 is a solid, in some ways spectacular, camera and is the first body I have owned where I have resolved to keep it until I wear it out (unless something unforeseen happens)
In honor of this anniversary, I thought it would be fun to post our current K-7 shutter actuation number, along with some photos from the K-7 taken over the year.
My shutter count (as of last night): 15,503
My first test photo with the K-7:
Ho, ho, ho. It's Christmas in July
