k-x unsharp focus

i'm a newbie here i 've noticed that the shots of my k-x 18-55 is not sharp ... i compared it to canon 550d and there's a big difference .. shots from 550d is way sharper than k-x ... any advice or tips on how to fix this problem with my lens?

You should post an example shot if you want help- otherwise there could be about 100 causes for this.

Chances are you used a slow shutter speed, had a shallow DOF, shook the camera, or didn't wait for the SR system to arm.

You might consider posting sample photos with exif data intact.

lol another one, my problem was, that kx chooses slow shutter speeds, so check pictuers amd c if its of focus or its just unsharp, try to use Tv mode, shoot with 1/60 or faster, make sure of SR is on, then check results
