Cool. I am quite happy with the old ones holding 80% for a few months.

What's their capacity (mAh)?

I have the 2100 ones, are the new ones bigger?

How cool is that -
The news about the newer eneloops has been out on CPF for some months now -
upgraded Eneloops

Thanks for the heads up about the availability at CostCo.

Are the batteries themselves the same pearl white as previously - can one distinguish them from the older versions?

Can you please let us know the charger model #, and if possible the specs?

Thanks

I don't think eneloops are 2100mAh -
they are marked Typ 2,000mAh Min 1,900mAh

batteries can be differentiated from the old ones.

haven't opened the box yet, but i could see they're marked Min 1900maH

AA batteries are dark blue and light blue in color (4 of each color)
AAA batteries are light and dark green (2 of each color)

After disappointing results and early failures with NiMH batteries I switched to Sanyo Eneloops in January 2008.

My original four have been tossed out but I have eight bought in May 2008 (26 months old), sixteen bought in February 2009 (17 months old), and eight bought Sept 2009 (10 months old) .

I do not measure hours, frames, or charges but I have had no indication that I any of my batteries are in need of replacement. Though I marked them in sets I'm not sure I can tell them apart and so far have not needed to. Most of my cameras are K1x0Ds and I cycle a set of four through the charger every few weeks whether they need it of not.

The K1x0Ds are considered battery killers but I could not be happier with the Sanyos.
