Lucky me.

So I found out today that I won a $565 Visa gift card for doing good in sales at the company I work for. Happy to say I am now a proud owner of a Pentax K-X.

Thank you. Only concern I have right now is how to activate different filters when I am in Auto Pict, or even in a preset mode like Portrait, Landscape, etc. I have been looking in the manual and it seems that I should be able to apply the monochrome filter regardless of the mode I am in, but right now I can only figure out how to apply it when I am in manual mode. Any suggestions, or is there no way to have monochrome on in other modes besides manual? Thanks.

Keep selling well, there's plenty of other equipment to get now too.

I went a little nuts taking pictures of my cats, but here are some pictures I have taken. Sorry if they are obviously beginner pictures.

Those are actually nice for beginner photos..except for the last photo of the cat which is off focus.
It could have helped if the DOF (depth of field) wasn't too narrow so it would keep the whole cat in focus.
With a little tweaking in photoshop or the like and those photos will look even great!
Nice job an the selling and nice job on getting a K-x too!
Enjoy!
