I like the pentaxian bios too. I think the pentaxian website is a marketing thing that hasn't been updated in awhile.

More like years, unfortunately.

Yep, its a sad site and sight. The l;atest and greatest camera these 'Pentaxians' are using is a K10.

Really sad. It would be awesome to see a couple of pros using 645D's and k-5's.
It is strange how Pentax marketing guys don't see the benefit of showing their product in real action. What is even more strange, that there are plenty of interesting Pentaxians here in PF, who I believe would be willing to share their stories and experience, even though are ignored.

I like to think of it, as exclusive rather than rare.

I'm a Scout leader, and this past weekend our youth ran a safety station deep in the woods during a 24-hour 'eco-challenge'. This backwoods orienteering event was for the Nova Scotia Search & Rescue unit. I saw 4, count 'em 4, Pentax cameras in the hands of search and rescue organizers - a K5, K7, K30 and K20. I saw one Canon, and one Nikon. And I had my K30 back there too.

The Pentax niche is so obvious...rugged, ergonomic, weathersealed, great-value-for-the-buck cameras. Skip a few of the fancy features that people use once a year for well-thought-out innovations that help the everyday experience.

I'm helping an amateur astronomer buddy learn about Pentax. He's pretty much flabbergasted the SR can be used for astrotracking. Plus he's outdoorsy anyway, so I think a K-5IIs might be sold soon.

Good old René Descartes, a deep thinker ahead of his time.

He'd never even heard of the virtual internet world.

Saw a lady shooting a K-R at Stoke Bruerne canal two weeks ago. She nodded and smiled.

Aye, but she thought you were gonna ask her out for a date or at least buy her lunch.

I was at the Wings over Illawarra airshow on Sunday https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/51909-airshow-illawarra-2.html#post2375345
and saw these within a few minutes of each other. I didn't see any more.

No, no, no, that's not the right quote...the right quote is "I drink, therefore I am"
