while i was shopping for all the stuff i bought I noticed downtown camera now has a complete line of Pentax including 645z on display and they had just received a big pile of K50 kits for a promo (this was a while back) . Henry's actually had less pentax despite being a bigger store
Hm. The big chain here in Spain (MediaMarkt from Germany), at least the shop that I once in a while visit, has the Olympus Pen series, alpha 5000, more entry level Fuji, a K-30 and K-50, 1100D, D3100, ... that sort of camera out in the open. And of course a ton of point & shoot, bridge etc. cams. D7100 and above, OM-D series, etc. are behind glass. All cameras are complete with lens (would be stupid if not), but rarely have they power.
I suppose the staff would let me try, but I hate bothering people if I have no intention of buying.
The camera store in Malaysia that I used to frequent has 2 stores, both have the complete Pentax line up (including Pentax Q keychains), one of them also the 645D (now probably 645Z). The staff itself shoots mostly (if not exclusively) Pentax, though they do also sell other brands. Whenever I was there people were mostly interested in Pentax... might be related to them being the only shop in that area that sells Pentax gear. Other brands are available everywhere. Pentax workshops in that area they also participate in... sadly not many, and there was too much demand when I tried to participate.
