Too rushly?

Hi RH,

Thanks for the reply.

Congrats, Lance!

I'm interested to the K10D too. But I shall wait for the next batch so as to for the "issues" to be settled down. I think the product has been put onto the market too rushly but I Know Pentax has no choice because of the severe competition (with time too).

Too rushly? They were over a month late with production and it is at least 8 months after the D200 was released which uses the same sensor. I hardly call that rushed. If anything, I think they have taken their time to make sure they got it right.

Despite you were seeing me I was complaining about my *ist D for some things. Actually, I have been missing one of its feature/function very much, that is, the TTL flash support on it. It also seems that the exposure accuracy of the TTL flash is just right and my Pentax TTL flash on the *ist DS was also on the brighter side (although not yet overexposed).

I do not use flash much but I will give it some testing to see how it fares

But the sad thing is I sold both already :-( Now, I only have a K100 with me.

Why did you sell? I am keeping my beloved D as I think it is such a great camera. I still love everything about it except the slowness to write to card.
