This is great news! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully this will help increase awareness of the Pentax brand, and it will give Pentax a good chance to capitalize with their announcements at Photokina! Hopefully they have some good stuff lined up...just have to wait a few more weeks.

That's unpossible. Everyone knows all of the photo magazines are biased against Pentax.

...and with the K-x receiving a TIPA award at Photokina, Pentax should be in good shape for 2011.

I should pick up a copy to read the entire article they had about the K7. Since most magazines are biased against Pentax and...begrudgingly...give them any kind of kudos I wonder if words like "entry-level", "budget", "beginner", "basic" and the like will be sprinkled about. Juist to stay with their M.O.

Yeah, I'm a cynic. :-P

I can't believe it. the dlsr with the worst HiGH ISO and DR made it thru the cover of a well-known photo mag? this is outrageous. this is unfair. NO WAY.

I find it funny when then do their "comparisons", and no matter what negatives are pointed out about the similar offerings from Canon and Nikon, Pentax always gets at least a half a star less than its competitors. Even with a camera like the K-7 which they tend to speak highly of, it's just not semi-pro or advanced amateur enough to be rated as highly as the D90 or 50D. They always say, "Even though the K-7 is a great camera, unless you're already heavily invested in Pentax gear you should probably look elsewhere because of ____________ (fill in the blank)".

I've quoted all the words they said about the K7 camera above. Yes, that's all you can find in the magazine.
