.
Same "problem" overhere, i also should have to selected that.

My first camera was a Beirette (still have it laying around somewhere)

After that i bought a Pentax MX with several lenses (with i still own) and a winder. A short while later i had send the winder back to add a remote control connector on it. So even then i was able to remotely make pictures with a cable of 10 mtr

My first real serious digital camera was a Fuji Finepix 602. The fine thing of that camera is that you can use the viewfinder for making pictures, almost just as if you have a dslr in you're hands.

After that cam i bought a K100D and last year replaced it with a K7.

Yes, too few alternatives. My first camera was an instamatic back in 1974 at the age of six.

chalk up another instamatic...

I had a succession of plastic p&s cameras from the late seventies 'til I was handed down a Minolta SRT101 at 19....

I bought my first 35 mm SLR, in 1968, It was a Pentax S1a, No meter, 1/500th of a second.

I worked in a publishing company as an Editorial Assistant and was required to buy an SLR camera to take pictures for publication purposes.

I still have it, it still works and since then I have bought a multitude of other cameras...everything from a Pentax ES 11 (35mm slr), Leica 11f (35mm Rangefinder), Mamiya 220 Pro F TLR (Medium format) with 3 MF lenses, etc.

I have lots more equipment.

Digitally, I now have a Pentax K10D, KM, plus a multitude of digital lenses.

I'm no longer in the publishing field, but for the past 40 odd years have continued to photograph, mainly as a hobbyist, not professionally anymore.

I started with a Pentax MX in 1981 - the very one shown below actually. It still looks pretty good.

Added a backup K2 in about 1992 and went digital with the K10D in 2007.

All of them still work flawlessly.

It was a rangefinder for me as well, an Ilford Sportsman in the early 1960's.

Then I discovered beer, fast cars and women and didn't get back into photography until sometime in the 1980's when I jumped in at the deep end and bought a Canon A1.

I started with a 126 point and shoot in the early 60s and got a Minolta SRT-201 in 1975. My first digital was a Fuji S5000 and now I have a k-x.

First camera was Pentax S3 in '74. Moved to K1000 mid eighties then to SF1n in 91 and now recently acquired a K20D. A Pentaxian all the way!

My first SLR was a Yashica FX-D around 1982, and then I moved on to a Contax 137MD and eventually a Contax RTSII. Before that I had used my fathers Zeiss 6x9 folder.

My love affair with photography started in '77/'78 with a K-1000. After it quit working and life "happened", I simply used basic P&S cameras until I got my K-X a couple of months ago.

I started with a Nikon F2, then F3HP (this I used the most) but mostly played around and used Nikon FG, FM, FM2, and FA.
Whew! I was a heavy Nikon user then.

My first was the K10D, which I still own. I used some film point and shoots when I was younger, but my first and only DSLR was the K10D. After having it for 2 years, I can't image why I waited so long to get one

Started with my dad's old (____) 35mm back in the late 60s/early 70s sometime (I don't recall what the brand was, he's gone and so is the camera...). My first real camera purchased for myself was my K1000 in high school (still in my bag too).
