k20d and Flash Af200S

An old flash module from ME-Super seems that is incompatible with the k20d...
it seems that flash whenever it wants..
Is a special setting that can fix this?

The Pentax AF200S is compatible with your K20D, but only in manual mode.

Set the flash to 'Auto' mode, and your camera to 'M' mode. Next, set the aperture to what's indicated on the flash, and the shutter speed to whatever the ME's sync speed is (either 1/60s or 1/125s - I can't remember). Your photos should then be properly exposed! If needed, you can always adjust lighting through small adjustments in aperture.
