John, I still don't understand why people put gaffer's tape over the camera logos?

I don't know about in private life, but when you see cameras on tv with the logos blacked out, it's sometimes done to keep from giving that brand a free plug.

More likely to avoid having to pay for using the brand name, or at the most, both.

Some cameras are just recognizable though. I was forced (sort of) to watch one of those reality programs. Somebody was taking pictures of a new baby with either a Kx Stormtrooper or a Km (didn't they come in white as well?)..

Just as it's impossible for me to NOT know what a particular model of car is, even with the logos blanked out.

To reference an earlier post, the K10D/20D are tanks...It's just that the 6x7 is a battlecruiser

Like others suggested, I think he doesn't want to advertise for them. Paying for the gear is enough!

I had an XA with me - I should have included it in the shot - it would have looked like a lithium ion battery!

Me, I like big to go with the size of my hands.

Just love the real wood handle, on the big boy 6 x 7 , just quality.
