A proud Adirondack Redneck, everything I have ever owned is still around here somewhere. I have no option to vote because there is no 0 and I'm not working on it. I have passed some stuff on to my kids. I've thought about selling and upgrading but I never seem to get around to it. My cellar is pretty full and I can't get in the garage.

Gave an *st to a neighbor who's been too good to us and tried to get my daughter into another *st I have or my K-M. No luck - she's too busy with twins at 24 months.

So I currently have six DSLRs including the Asahi Spotmatic from 1969. I only shoot with the K-7 and K-X. I should get busy the marketplace if I cannot find a local donee who would love the hobby but cannot afford the investment.

Persuaded someone I work with to buy a pentax W80 digital compact. He was quit surprised how well made it was compared to the competitors. The bloke in the shop told him that pentax was a newish company so not to expect much. Do these retailers actually train staff about the products they sell and the companies who make them?
Oh, and yes he is very pleased with his purchase and does not stop showing people the pics he has taken with.

3 people but only 2 converts

I converted a guy at work who was lusting after a Nikon. Let him try my K-x and that was that. Aso convinced my brother-in-law, in fact he even got my K10D and the two kit lenses, a 105mm Sigma macro and the FA 50mm F1.4. He shares the kit with his son. So I got 3 people but only two converts.

Well reeftool, at least up there it's cold enough that all that stuff will keep.

Well, I didn't sell one, but I did convince my wife to take my K100D body off my hands so I could by a K20D. Does that count?

Two - my son has now got my DL2 with Sigma kit (oz users understand) K55 and Tokina A80-210 and is adding alls sorts of stuff to it and has bought in to the system thinking. Bag, flash, tripod, hoods, - he was in Japan recently and was eyeing off the white Kx. Totally agree with his thinking.

A neighbour bought a K1000 a couple of years ago after playing with my DL2. I gave her a genuine m42 adaptor a zebra Tessa and a Panagor 100-300 with a bit of macro ability. Sewing the seeds of LBA should earn me a bonus point as well.

I sold hundreds of them when I was working at a camera store while I was studying at University back in the days of film. (Pentax was our major brand then)

Only a couple since I have had DSLRs.
