How many Pentaxes have you sold?

How many of your friends, family, and acquaintances have purchased a Pentax camera after receiving your sage advice? Online/virtual sales via recommendations on PentaxForums and other websites don't count here. I'm talking about real live people

I have not only sold over 10 cameras to fellow employees via showing them how great Pentax is but I have also sold each of my previous models of the Pentax dSLR line up (ist D, ist DS, 100D, 10D, 20D) to my family as I upgrade every year.

Two, so far. I failed to convince a third, who fell prey to Nikon, and subsequently spent thousands of dollars on heavy glass he isn't able to carry around because of back pain.

That sucks alot.

Hey could carry 3 FA lenses in a nice compact pouch with either the K-x or the K-7 and be done, or carry 5 super compact DA limiteds and be done and I'm sure that would not interfere with his back pain... You can still convert him! Just show him what you can do with the FA limiteds or the DA limiteds!

Well, I was all ready to check off that I deserve a free 645D and then I read your conditions.

I've done a lot of Pentax recycling but never to friends and family. I'm the only one that even uses a dSLR. The rest enjoy the compact type P&S cameras.

I guess if I Sold everything I have, pentax-wise, I could afford the 645D.. Hmmmmmm... Oh well...

Had 1 when the k-x came out. Battery issues made him send it back 3 days before firmware update. Just helped my sister by a k10d off here just 2 weeks ago.

My brother bought one, he then bought one for his son, I gave my K10 and Tamron 18-250 to a nephew (and hes using it :-)). I guess that almost counts for 3

I must admit I don't even try, especially when I'm usually surrounded by Canons and a few lonely Nikons.

It's all about results, I get my pay by using Pentax and that's good enough for me.

Exactly one but that is because I there is only 1 person in my family/friends that is into photography and does not already have a camera. I was actually sold into buying a Pentax by a Pentax user, then I in turn got him to join this forum.

One person. He was thinking of getting a big Nikon camera. He saw my little K2000 with the little da 70mm and thought it was a P&S. Then he saw some portrait pics that I had wiht it and was sold on the idea of smaller package. The other person I talked to bought one of those mirrorless cameras instead...
